Dad
I told you
I had d.e.p.r.e.s.s.i.on.
And you said
"As long as it doesn't control your life."
But Daddy
It controls EVERYTHING.
You blew it off,
Like the wind blows out a candle.
You blew out my candle.
I admitted my flaws
And you said n.o.t.h.i.n.g.
I was crying out for help
And the nothingness echoed
Like a high pitched squeal
Only you can hear.
I guess I'd rather be depressed
and alone
Than happy
and ignored.
