My name is Onna. I live in Indianapolis, but I was born in Michigan and grew up in a small town called Huntington. I am currently going to school for Biomedical Engineering, which probably explains why I find myself all too often in socially awkward situations. It has basically become an art form at this point. On top of being awkward, I really enjoy all things 80s and 90s: the fashion, the music, etc. I'll probably end up a crazy cat lady. I have a cute little fur ball named Garth, like in Wayne's World, not like the singer. He's the cat that is more like a dog than a cat, but that's another story for another day. I spend most of my time doing school because it takes up my life. I also like to spend time dreaming of places I want to travel, so basically I dream about the world and what is out there. Sometimes I write poetry. I will forever be a continuous learner, as I find it is very important to learn more than I knew yesterday.
Dear Onna! Just found your blog as I was searching for "Awkward Café"; hope you're doing great and have been proud of being awkward! Normal is overrated :-) The reason to reach out is that my kids and I (all proudly awkward), have an idea to bring fellow awkwardians together (in an actual café) to help our fellows to build an off-line social circle. As your last post is already some years ago, hope this message reaches you and you can drop us a line... Thank you!
